Fritsch will exhibit application-oriented laboratory instruments for sample preparation and particle sizing applications at Powtech, which is scheduled to take place on 11-13 October 2011.
According to the company, which will be found in Booth 6-305 in Hall 6, its products are suitable for fast industrial applications and for use in industry and research laboratories.
The Planetary Mills product range, which will be exhibited, is designed for grinding down to the nanometre range.
Its grinding bowl locking system enables the safe automatic checking of the locks in the mill, blocking in the event of impermissible operating states and automatic shut-off in the event of an imbalance.
Also on display will be Fritsch's Cyclone system, which is suitable for the fine grinding of temperature-sensitive samples.
The efficient air cooling in the Pulverisette 14 variable-speed rotor mill and the powerful air vortex within the Cyclone cool the sample during grinding, reduce the thermal load of the sample and minimise clogging of the sieve rings, while simultaneously increasing throughput.
In addition, the cleaning of the mill itself is reduced to a minimum.
The air flow inside the Cyclone leads the ground sample directly into the screwed-on sample glass.
Another product on show at Powtech will be the Analysette 22 Nanotec Plus laser particle sizer, which is designed for the measurement of nanoparticles in a wide measuring range of 0.01-2,000um.
This product is said to ensure the reliable determination of particle size distributions in production and quality control as well as in research and development.
The company's laser technology makes it possible to separately select five measuring ranges.
The Dynasizer Analysette 12, also due to be exhibited, provides particle size measurements between 1nm and 6um using dynamic light scattering.
