Sara LBS has launched the Sara Sprint cleanroom door, which it claims is the first door to be tested by the Fraunhofer Institute for clean room suitability and certified to EN ISO 14644-1 Class 5.
The Sprint cleanroom door is capable of high opening and closing speeds of up to 2m/s.
According to Sara LBS, this ensures that air exchange and particle emission is kept to a minimum when doors are in operation.
The door is rated as suitable for use with rooms with pressure differences of up to 50Pa.
