John Morris Scientific is offering ISL's Vida Density Meter, which features push-button operation and is able to analyse volatile to highly viscous crude oil and petroleum products.
The Vida features an in-built automatic bubble-detection system that removes the need for visual checks and also ensures that reliability is not affected by bubble size or sample opacity.
It combines an oscillating U-tube sensor with integrated Pt-100 sensors and Peltier elements that are claimed to ensure a fast and reliable response to temperature variations, as well as accurate temperature control across a 0C to 100C temperature range.
An integrated ultrasonic cleaning device enhances solvent performance by cavitations and is also said to help deliver fast and efficient cleaning and drying, reduction of solvents consumption by 40 per cent, easy removal of solute deposits and an automatic cell-cleanliness check.
An additional feature of the Vida is its intuitive software that provides real-time test monitoring, clear test configuration and easy data management.
