Randox Food Diagnostics is now offering ELISA screening kits for the rapid detection of a range of antimicrobial and growth-promoting compounds in both milk and milk powder.
The range of testing includes beta agonists (clenbuterol and salbutamol), ractopamine, quinolones, beta lactams, sulphonamides and chloramphenicol.
A one-step sample preparation helps to reduce labour; a simple centrifugation of samples is all that is required before application to multiple ELISA kits, according to the company.
Productivity can be maximised in any milk testing environment, with results for up to 40 samples being available in less than 90 minutes.
