Syrris' Asia flow chemistry system helps advance experiments at Cambridge University
Syrris, a flow product developer, has received positive feedback on Asia, its range of advanced flow chemistry products.
The Asia system offers a variety of modules for research, including an advanced flow chemistry pump known as the Asia Syringe Pump.
Its proprietary technology allows automated experiments with or without a PC, and the modular design makes it suitable for everything from a manually operated starter system to fully automated reaction optimisation with integrated analysis.
Catherine Carter, a PhD student in flow chemistry at Cambridge University said: ‘The pressurised inlet for the pumps is extremely useful for reactions - pumping organometallic compounds can be problematic in flow chemistry - [this has] given us the confidence to try things that we would not previously have attempted and helping to reduce failure rates.’
