Hielscher Ultrasonics has launched a stainless steel flow cell developed for ultrasonic processes at small volumes
The flow cell fc2clampk fits Hielscher's industrial ultrasonic processors UIP500hd (20kHz, 500W), UIP1000hd (20kHz, 1kW), UIP1500hd (20kHz, 1,5kW) and 2000hd (20kHz, 2kW).
According to the company, the flow cell's high energy input combined with its small volume make it an ideal tool for the nano, pharma and biotech industries.
The flow cell is made of stainless steel and can be easily assembled and cleaned.
The simple design also avoids material settling in corners or orifices.
Using tri-clamps, the fc2clampk can be mounted to one of the various sonotrodes which suits the application.
