SP Scientific has announced a new 4-part online training course for scientists to build a basic understanding of the theory and concepts behind freeze drying.
The four session training course, presented by industry expert Dr Jeff Schwegman, will run every Wednesday between July 11th and August 1st, 2012.
Topics covered will include an introduction to freeze drying; the physical properties of materials and thermal characterization techniques; freezing, annealing, primary and secondary drying and finally scale-up, cycle transfer and maximising throughput capability.
