Using the same underlying silica template as its current HPLC and UHPLC particles, the new pore size and stationary phases have been optimised in order to accommodate the larger molecules within Bioanalysis.
Available as an analytical particle, Fortis BIO is also available as a 1.7um particle for use in ultra high performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC).
The UHPLC particle allowing an increase in sensitivity to be achieved in the region of 50%, whilst resolution of critical compounds will also be greatly improved, samples such as peptide mapping being particularly enhanced.
