The LynXéa Time-Correlated Single Photon Counting TCSPC module was unveiled at Photonics West 2013.
The LynXea combines low-level-of-light SPD_A_M2 Single Photon Counter and the TCSPC technique to provide time-resolved measurements ranging from 0 to 250 ns at up to 0.4 million counts/sec and with a time resolution of 90 ps.
It integrates two independent and identical high-photon-detection-efficiency Geiger-mode InGaAs avalanche photodiodes with a Time to Digital Converter, eliminating the need for external computer plug-in counting cards.
Product features
- Plug-and-play Personal Computer connection via its USB 2.0 interface.
- It is controlled by its user-friendly graphical user interface software, which enables measurement parameter set up and adjustment.
Photonics West took place last week at the Moscone Center in California. The conference is designed to highlight developments in biophotonics and biomedical optics, high-power laser manufacturing, optoelectronics, microfabrication, and green photonics.
