Dolomite’s Parallel Droplet System can produce up to 30,000 monodispersed micro droplets per second.
Built around Dolomite’s industry leading Mitos P-Pump and recently launched range of Multiflux connectors and interfaces, the Parallel Droplet System allows users to create stable monodisperse water-in-oil or oil-in-water droplets ranging from 20µm to 60µm in diameter.
The system is expected to appeal to a range of applications such as microparticle manufacturing for pharmaceutical drug encapsulation and emulsion manufacturing for food research and production.
Featuring the 6-Junction Droplet Chip with six individual flow-focussing junctions, the system is capable of consistently producing up to 600ml of emulsion over a 24-hour period.
The system also features Dolomite’s Flow Resistors and Flow Sensors for closed loop flow control, and to offer maximum user flexibility.
