Artel’s MVS solution assists users in accurately calibrating dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) dispenses.
For use with the company’s MVS Multichannel Verification System, DMSO is widely used for storing and transferring small-molecule compounds during high-throughput screening campaigns.
DMSO has distinct physical properties, behaving differently from water when handled by air-displacement pipettors and acoustic droplet ejectors.
The MVS is a universal system that verifies the volume-transfer performance of automated liquid handling systems and multichannel handheld pipettes.
The MVS consists of equipment, software, sample solutions and highly characterised microtiter plates.
The system is suitable for liquid volume measurements from 0.1 to 350.0 _L in a 96-well plate format or from 0.01 to 55 _L in 384 wells.
Artel will showcased its DMSO reagent solution earlier this week at Pittcon 2013.
Pittcon 2013 took place on March 17 – 21 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, Philadelphia, USA.
