The µPREP Buffered Peptone Water ISO (BPW) is designed to provide high throughput for laboratories when culture testing.
The line of sterile dehydrated microbiological culture media is made ready to use by adding water to the bag.
The BPW bags are supplied in boxes of ten which have the capacity to generate 20 litres of finished medium.
To prepare the system, users must attach a standard laboratory deionised or reverse osmosis water supply, via the Lab M filter accessory, to the sterile bag. The medium, which requires no further sterilisation, is then ready to use within a matter of minutes.
All culture media are manufactured in powder form which enhances rapid cold dissolution and helps avoid possible reconstitution issues.
Additionally, each bag is double-skinned and a dual port system helps ensure leakage is not an issue.
