The particle size technology from Malvern Instruments is designed to aid dry mill monitoring and control.
The system, which assists fully integrated, automated milling, has been chosen to bolster Cemtec’s process performance.
Mr Plochberger, head of R&D and process technology at Cemtec, said: “Particle size measurement is vital for efficient mill control which is why we wanted to be able to integrate a trusted sensor within our processing solutions.”
The Insitec system is used to monitor and control various processes ranging from abrasive bulk powders to food, fine chemicals and pharmaceuticals.
Additionally, for automated continuous operation, the Insitec is installed in the process line or on an associated sampling loop.
