Genevac will unveil its latest products at the 246th American Chemical Society meeting and exposition in Indianapolis, USA.
From 8th – 12th September 2013, visitors to will see the ROCKET 4D – a fully automated system for drying or concentration of very large volumes (a few to 100 litres) in one operation with no user interaction.
Users need simply to load the sample, select a method, press start, and walk away – the system will do the rest.
The compact ROCKET 4D provides safe drying or concentration of samples using proprietary vacuum technology to suppress solvent bumping and foaming – problems associated with sample loss when using large scale rotary evaporators.
Specialists will also demonstrate and discuss the third generation EZ-2 Series Evaporator – an easy-to-use benchtop system that claims to use the most advanced proven technology in evaporation science.
The EZ-2 accurately controls vacuum and temperature to enable rapid evaporation of a wide range of solvents and prevent bumping and cross contamination.
Compatible with a wide range of sample holders, the EZ-2 will easily integrate within the workflow of many laboratories. Options are available to enable routine, safe removal of potentially explosive solvents such as diethyl ether or pentane and also removal of acids including concentrated hydrochloric acid (HCl).
