An orbivirus that infects most wild and domestic ruminant, EHD is endemic in many countries, particularly affecting white-tailed deer in North America.
NovareDx EHDV Strip Test Kit is a qualitative lateral flow test designed for use in the field or farm, requiring no additional equipment or specialised technical training.
It gives results that can be interpreted visually or with the use of the optional QuickSTAR Strip Test Reader within around seven to ten minutes.
The kit uses a monoclonal antibody against EHDV surface protein, increasing the sensitivity and specificity of the assay.
