The Eltra CHS-580 analyser is designed for the determination of carbon, sulphur and hydrogen concentrations in organic sample materials such as fuels, oil, chemicals, soil or cement.
The instrument is equipped with a ceramic furnace with a maximum temperature of 1,550 °C.
It permits direct elemental analysis of solid or liquid samples without elaborate sample preparation. Typical analysis time is between one and three minutes.
While conventional combustion analysers only determine the elements carbon and sulphur, the CHS-580 is also suitable for measuring the hydrogen content.
This is a unique advantage of the analyser, particularly when analysing fuels or chemicals.
The standard delivery scope of the CHS-580 includes golden infrared cells, so that even more aggressive reaction gases can be processed, for example for the analysis of acidulated soils.
Flexibility is guaranteed by selecting the elements to be analysed in any possible combination.
The measuring range can be adapted to individual requirements by variation of the infrared cells.
And the CHS-580 can provide reliable analysis results for element concentrations from the ppm range to 100%.
Features overview:
- Simultaneous analysis of carbon, sulphur and hydrogen
- Individual measuring ranges for C and S from the ppm range to 100 %
