INFORS HT follows the success of its Multitron incubator shaker with the Minitron space-saving design.
The Minitron has the same characteristics as its big brother, but on a smaller scale. The high incubation chamber of the Minitron holds Erlenmeyer flasks of up to 5 litres.
With the proven cooling and CO2 control options and the Hygienic Direct Steam Humidification, the Minitron can be optimally configured for any particular application. The microbial version comes with a new, extra-strong drive.
“Even at the maximum load with Ultra Yield Flasks (Thomson) and a culture volume totalling 7.5 L, the Minitron’s low-vibration and low-noise operation are persuasive factors,” said Daniel Bruecher, product manager shakers at INFORS HT.
“Our customers can enjoy the benefits of maximum oxygen transfer for practically every application as well as optimal growth.”
Minitron is designed to make light work of the stringent requirements of cell culture.
In addition to precise CO2 control, it offers low CO2 consumption that is comparable to that of a static incubator.
Hygienic Direct Steam Humidification prevents evaporation/vaporisation from shaker flasks, thereby ensuring a constant culture volume. The package is rounded off with an easy-clean interior.
The combination of Iris 6 Parallel Bioprocess Control Software and wireless data transmission offers convenient process data recording options and useer-friendly control with the help of time and event-based profiles.
