Metrohm has announced the expansion of its specialist open day to discuss thermometric titration for the petroleum industry.
Those attending Metrohm’s titration open day in June will have the chance to discover a simple and direct determination of the TAN (Total Acid Number) in petroleum products from a number of titration specialists.
After many years of debating, comparing to current ASTM norms, and round robin testing, Metrohm is hopeful that at the next ASTM Meeting in June it will get the TAN by TET finalised for crude oil analysis.
Through a series of talks, demonstrations and hands-on workshops, open day attendees will see the benefits of thermometric titration.
Participants can come and see the Metrohm thermometric titrator and meet and discuss their applications with Metrohm titration specialists.
Due to the popularity of this topic, Metrohm is are running two, one-day sessions on 11th and 12th June at Metrohm UK, Runcorn, Cheshire.
