The Aeris PEPTIDE core-shell column line has been expanded to include a 5 µm particle size for small-scale purifications.
Phenomenex has announced the addition of a 5 µm particle size to its family of Aeris PEPTIDE core-shell columns, enabling higher efficiencies and higher loading capability for small-scale peptide purification in 10 mm ID semi-prep columns and 21.2 mm ID Axia-packed prep columns.
Aeris PEPTIDE is fully scalable over four particle sizes - 1.7 µm, 2.6 µm, 3.6 µm, and 5 µm - enabling easy method transfer from analytical HPLC and UHPLC to preparative applications.
Moreover, Aeris PEPTIDE is ideal for biomolecule separations in pharmaceutical and life science applications.
The Phenomenex Axia preparative format delivers longer column lifetime, higher efficiencies, improved performance and high reproducibility, compared to conventionally packed columns for lab-scale preparative chromatography.
“We are continually expanding our core-shell products to provide our customers with seamless scalability providing the same selectivity and retention over the range of particle sizes,” said Michael Klein, brand manager for Phenomenex.
“Aeris is the leading choice for the separation of biomolecules and we now offer the largest number of formats of any core-shell product engineered for biomolecules on the market.”
