Exhibition organiser says the 2006 event already has reservations for more than half of the available space
Only a couple of months into its booking period, and still more than 18 months before the Frankfurt exhibition, stand space reservations have reached almost 60% of the final level of the last show, Achema 2003.
With about 4000 exhibitors from five continents and approximately 200,000 visitors from 100 different countries, Achema is the definitive meeting point for the chemical engineering community worldwide.
Nowhere else do decision-makers from the process industries find a comparable display of solutions to problems they encounter in their professions.
The 'greatest show on Earth' for the chemical processing and associated industries has so far attracted 1800 exhibitors, more than half of them international (ie, non-German).
The laboratory and analytical techniques sector of the exhibition has already received bookings for 350 booths, more than half the final total of 2003.
A top executive from a UK based laboratory equipment exhibitor at Achema 2003 said "the show was a great success and we were pleasantly surprised by the number of international visitors who had travelled from all parts of the world.
"Achema, in my opinion, is an exhibition that you cannot miss and in terms of real business opportunities is a better investment than shows such as Pittcon, which is disappointing with respect to meeting with end users".
