Agilent demonstrates a comprehensive approach to developing and maintaining high-sensitivity methods for quantitative GC/MS analysis using selected ion monitoring
Agilent Technologies Europe has released new software features providing semi-automatic setup of the required selected ion groups that makes gas chromatography/mass spectrometry using selected ion monitoring (GC/MS-SIM) methods simple to develop. Applying retention time locking (RTL) ensures that the resulting methods are easily maintained, are stable with respect to column maintenance or replacement, and may be exported to any Agilent 6890 GC/5973N MSD instrument using the same column type.
