Designed as a leading system for platelet aggregometry, the Pap-4 instrument range from Alpha Laboratories now has enhanced software capability for greater diagnostic interpretation.
Data analysis, for example, can be performed on selected primary and secondary reaction slopes with the lag phase, curve shape and area under the curve providing additional information. Furthermore, to reflect the increasing importance of the von Willebrand (Ristocetin Cofactor) assay as a diagnostic marker, the system will interpret from either two or four point standard curves.
The Pap-4 range is also supplemented by the Pap-4 CD which enables measurement of chromogenic assays such as protein C, antithrombin III and factor Xa on a single instrument.
