Improved sample preparation through a range of closed environment evaporators and acid inert hotplates simplifies preparations of solutions where ultra low detection limits are required
Analysco has introduced to the UK two new products for improving and simplifying preparations of solutions where ultra low detection limits are required - a range of closed environment evaporators and acid inert hotplates.
The Evapoclean, closed environment evaporator has been developed in cooperation with the National Centre for Scientific Research, Institut de Physique du Globe in Paris.
It provides partial or total evaporation of solutions, at controlled temperatures, reducing matrix interference, with excellent recoveries to ppt levels - with no contamination of the sample or the environment.
As a multi purpose device, the Evapoclean can be used for acid purification and the top surface can be used as a hotplate, with holes, for acidic digestion.
The Evapoclean is constructed internally of a solid graphite block, with a PTFE coating, bonded to the surface. This provides a clean and totally acid resistant module for long term use in a corrosive environment.
Users of the equipment include the semiconductor and water industries and geological isotope laboratories.
The acid inert hotplates are constructed of the same PTFE coated graphite and include optional racks.
The racks can be made with holes to suit special requirements.
