Manufacturer of microbiology equipment launches new automatic spiral plater and displays its atmosphere controlled workstations at the giant German show
On show at Analytica will be the new and economical Wasp 2 (Whitley Automatic Spiral Plater) which offers the benefits of speed, reproducibility and savings on media and laboratory time. The compact Don Whitley Vacuum Source 602 will be featured alongside Wasp 2.
The Modular Atmosphere Controlled Systems (Macs) workstations will also be on the stand, including the add-on airlock module for transferring plates into and out of the workstation without interrupting operation, and the Macs-VA500 workstation with its variable atmosphere capability for the study and isolation of microaerophilic organisms.
The Rabit will also be featured, a flexible modular system which provides rapid and automatic indication of the presence and numbers of bacteria in a wide range of samples.
Don Whitley Scientific will also be displaying a range of products from Synbiosis, including the brand new Acolyte SP colony counter.
Developed specifically for counting spiral plates, it is extremely fast and easy to use, offering huge time savings to any laboratory.
The Acolyte complements the ProtoCol colony counter and the ProtoCol RGB that detects and automatically counts multiple coloured colonies simultaneously.
Don Whitley Scientific shares the Meintrup DWS Laborgeräte stand, no 210, hall B1, at Analytica.
