All mechanical components are located within the autoclave housing, with the electronic process controls located separately in a control panel contained in the lid
Don Whitley Scientific is bringing the future of autoclaving to the laboratory.
Together with German manufacturer Systec,it is now offering a new design concept in autoclaves for easier operation.
Many technical advances have been incorporated to ensure safer, faster and more reproducible autoclaving.
Four models are available from 65 to 150 litres, each featuring lids which open hydraulically, six sterilisation programmes, a cleaning programme, and an integrated steam generator for direct steam pressure heating.
Options include a fan for accelerated cooling, pre- and post fan for complete removal of air, and comprehensive coils for steam drying and rapid cooling.
New technology means that all the mechanical components are located within the autoclave housing, with the electronic process controls located separately in an ergonomically designed control panel contained in the lid.
The compartment size has been optimised leading to a 20% reduction in the overall size of the machine.
The loading capacities are excellent - the 150 litre version is capable of taking three layers of one litre bottles. Safety is improved with the new 'click and go' system. At the push of a button the door lock opens and the lid is pneumatically raised.
When closing the novel circular door, the ring lock hermetically seals the lid for absolute safety.
