National Environmental Monitoring Conference, the new name for the (US) Waste Testing and Quality Assurance Symposium, will hold its conference in July
The National Environmental Monitoring Conference (NEMC) announces a call for papers with abstracts due 15 March 2003.
The conference will be held 21-24 July 2003 in Arlington, USA.
NEMC is the new name for the venerable Waste Testing and Quality Assurance (WTQA) Symposium.
The name change reflects WTQA's growth and diversification and EPA's commitment to provide a forum for addressing policy and technical issues that affect monitoring in all media and across all environmental programmes. The conference brings together scientists, analysts, engineers and managers from US federal and state agencies, the regulated community, and from the laboratory and engineering support communities in an informal setting near Washington DC.
Details on the conference topics and abstract submission may be obtained from the internet at www.nemc.us and the programme will also be posted there.
