Two-year collaboration agreement will enable protocols to be developed for the use of media in the separation of a wider range of cell types
Amersham Biosciences announces a two-year collaboration agreement with Cell Therapeutics Scandinavia, to develop fast and simpler methods to isolate specific cell types.
This will enable Amersham Biosciences to offer superior cell separation methodology than is currently available to cell therapy customers.
The density gradient centrifugation media from Amersham Biosciences allows researchers to isolate cells according to their density and/or size, and are already established for applications such as lymphocyte isolation, bone marrow processing and blood banking. Amersham has now secured a two-year collaboration agreement with Cell Therapeutics Scandinavia, which will enable protocols to be developed for the use of RediGrad media, the latest addition to the product portfolio, for the separation of a wider range of cell types.
