NT International's Model 6500 Integrated Flow Controller features a valve seat and diaphragm designed to minimise dead volume and fluid shear and reduce the possibility of process contamination
Boiswood, the specialist distributor of components for gas and liquid control, is now supplying NT International's Model 6500 Integrated Flow Controller (IFC).
Typical uses include continuous flow control for critical dispense applications, CMP slurry dispense to replace existing peristaltic pumps and batch control for chemical spiking and blending.
The Patented Model 6500, which has been developed for use in ultra high purity liquid chemical applications, features a valve seat and diaphragm designed to minimise dead volume and fluid shear in order to reduce the possibility of process contamination.
PTFE is used for wetted parts and inert materials for non-wetted parts, making the Model 6500 extremely resistant to harsh chemical environments and external spraydowns.
It is fitted with dual PTFE valve diaphragms for fluid containment and contamination protection and features the latest motorised valve and flowmeter technology.
The unit is activated by an analogue set point signal (i.e.
4-20 mA, 0-10 Vdc, or 0-5 Vdc) to maintain fluid flow at the desired set-point. Other features include encapsulated internal electronics to control all aspects of flow control, an Integral pressure transducer for additional process information, 1% full-scale accuracy for critical dispense applications, a compact footprint for easy field installation where space is limited and fast response for accurate dispense rates.
