New amino acid analyser with new ceramic-headed pumps and manifold-based valving system launched at the giant US show
Pittcon 2002 saw the introduction of the Biochrom 30 amino acid analyser.
Hardware improvements incorporated in the unit include new pumps with ceramic heads for dependable high pressure operation and future expandability.
A new manifold-based valving system improves reliability by reducing the potential for leaks, and the latest materials such as Peek are used in critical locations.
Like its successful predecessors, the Biochrom 30 is a compact bench-top instrument.
The Biochrom 30 software fully integrates instrument control and data handling functions. Coupled with a new graphical user interface, this is said to make operation intuitive and easy, allowing flexible data export and customised reporting.
System networking is another of the software's strong points.
