LFRA texture analyser assures accurate and reliable texture assessment for QC and R and D applications
Now part of the Brookfield range of instruments, the LFRA texture analyser has become an industrial standard, proven as a reliable, accurate and cost-effective way to determine the texture of foods, personal care and industrial products.
Since it was first developed in partnership with the Leatherhead Food Research Association for gelatin bloom evaluation, the LFRA texture analyser has been used to determine the characteristics of a wide range of materials - for product and process development and routine quality control purposes.
Easy to use, the analyser is available with a wide range of probes, fittings and accessories suitable for testing a variety of product characteristics. Applications can be as numerous as the ingenuity of the operator. Typical uses include: assessing the properties of gelling agents; evaluating the spreadability of creams, paints and sauces; testing the hardness of confectionery and polymers; and determining the firmness of doughs and pastes.
The LFRA can be operated as a stand-alone instrument or linked to a PC using the purpose-designed TA computer interface software.
This converts the analogue output into digital format so that the data collected can be manipulated and reviewed in a simple and user friendly manner.
Designed to work with any series of LFRA analyser, the TA computer interface software enables the technologist or technician to make graphical or tabular interpretation of the sample's response to imposed conditions during analysis, whilst allowing comparisons with stored data.
Complete with a comprehensive two year guarantee, the LFRA texture analyser is supported by a dedicated team of technologists, as well as the Brookfield sales and service network.
A contract service package, including annual maintenance and calibration, is also available.
