New furnaces to be launched include chamber furnaces designed to provide cost-effective heating performance up to 18000C and tube furnaces with heated lengths up to 1200mm
Carbolite is launching two new furnace ranges - high-temperature chamber models and large tube furnaces - on the Barloworld Scientific stand at Achema in May.
The new HTF chamber furnaces have been designed to provide cost-effective heating performance to maximum temperatures of 17000C and 18000C, with two sizes available for each temperature.
A combination of molybdenum disilicide elements and low thermal mass insulation produces rapid heating performance - for example, the HTF17/10 model reaches 17000C in 45 minutes.
Carbolite's new GTF tube furnaces have a maximum operating temperature of 12000C and heated lengths from 300mm to 1200mm.
They can accommodate interchangeable work tubes with diameters up to 150mm.
Elements consist of coiled wire embedded in moulded ceramic fibre, which provides even heating and ensures the elements do not touch the work tube.
Both the new ranges can be fitted with a wide variety of controllers, programmers and optional features.
In addition to the new models, Carbolite is also showing a wide variety of ovens and furnaces from its existing range of equipment at Achema, including specialised ashing and split tube furnaces.
Carbolite is sharing stand B11 in Hall 6.2 at Achema with three other Barlow World Scientific companies: Jenway, Techne, and Bibby Sterilin.
