Cetecom Spain has been selected by the Wi-Fi Alliance to become a Wi-Fi certification laboratory.
The laboratory's primary function is to test products against a bed of Wi-Fi certified products that will allow to verify that the features and functions of tested products support the 802.11a/b/g standards. Cetecom Spain's range of Wi-Fi services will cover certification, pre-certification and recertification testing after firmware update on 802.11a/b/g single band products, dual band products or application specific devices (ASD) in any band. This new facility comes to enlarge the current range of testing and compliance services provided by Cetecom Spain, that is, regulatory testing and world-wide type approval services, not only for Wlan products, but also for other wireless products such as Bluetooth, GSM/GPRS, Edge, W-CDMA, short range automotive applications, Dect, etc
