Chiltern International expande contract personnel department with the appointment of Rob Mitchell as a contract personnel executive
Chiltern International, a mid-sized clinical research organisation, has expanded its contract personnel department in line with increased demand for its services with the appointment of Rob Mitchell as a contract personnel executive.
Rob - who will be based in the UK - will work as an integral part of Chiltern's team overseeing the placement of contract and permanent candidates in pharmaceutical and biotech companies as well as other CROs and managing their careers while at Chiltern. He brings significant experience and expertise to the new role, having previously worked in the pharmaceutical industry for MSD and Eli Lilly.
Prior to this he also worked for seven years in the recruitment industry where he placed middle to senior managers in contract and permanent positions within a variety of companies.
"I chose Chiltern because they are a well respected organisation with a clear vision of what they are trying to achieve," he explained.
"I am looking forward to building on my previous pharmaceutical and recruitment experience and believe Chiltern has a lot to offer the industry. "Being involved in clinical research themselves, they are fully aware of the recruitment needs of their clients". "We're delighted to welcome Rob to our expanding team," added Larry Hughes, deputy head of Chiltern's contract personnel department.
"We're committed to ensuring that companies gain access to talented staff. "Individuals who can effectively communicate ideas and results can make the difference when it comes to the success of a company's performance in clinical development."
