ClinPhone has been awarded a workforce development grant for its primary US facility in Princeton, New Jersey.
The grant was awarded by the New Jersey Department of Labor's office of customised training, following an application process assisted by Mercer County Community College's Workforce Development programme.
The award enables the company's Princeton personnel to benefit from a 12-month programme of development in areas such as negotiating, customer service, communications, total quality management, technical training and project management.
ClinPhone went through a rigorous application process for the grant that involved exploring the benefits of customised training, how it would be incorporated into the day-to-day operations of the New Jersey facility, and how it would impact the business.
The award recognises the company's innovative use of technology and its rapid growth in the US market along with its desire for continued professional development.
ClinPhone is committed to the professional development of its employees and this grant will help the company to enhance its training program considerably.
The employees will benefit from practical courses that are designed to help them grow professionally.
These courses will also be tailored to the company's growing business needs and will be delivered on-site by certified trainers.
Such a specialised training programme represents a significant investment in the company's expertise that will ultimately benefit clients.
"The grant provides us with a win-win situation," commented ClinPhone training manager Christian Ricci.
"It will enable our staff to further develop their professional skills.
"This not only helps ClinPhone employees develop deeper relationships with their clients, but also improves the employees' professional development. "We already provide top-notch services as demonstrated by our many awards and robust technology, but we are eager to take advantage of any training or other improvements that will have positive benefits for our clients".
Although the grant will be strictly for New Jersey employees, ClinPhone is working with Oakton Community College for a similar grant offered by the state of Illinois for its Chicago staff.
