ClinPhone has signed a worldwide preferred supplier agreement with pharmaceutical giant Aventis Pharma to provide telephone and internet-based electronic trial management solutions.
Aventis Pharma is one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies and has a philosophy of rapidly developing, launching and marketing innovative pharmaceuticals that satisfy un-met medical needs in large patient populations.
ClinPhone works with many of the world leading biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies but Aventis Pharma will be the first of the significant global players in the industry to have a direct link between its clinical trial management system, Impact, and ClinPhone's randomisation and medication management services.
Data gathered by ClinPhone on behalf of Aventis Pharma during global clinical trials will be transferred immediately into Aventis's own database, giving the company genuine real-time access to the most up to date clinical trial data.
This allows both databases to display and hold up-to-date versions of data without duplication of entry, effectively giving them one, and only one, account of the true information.
Furthermore, CRAs will have the ability to access this data at any time.
The agreement will see ClinPhone working on Aventis Pharma clinical trials anywhere in the world. "We have a special relationship built over the last two years and we are delighted that Aventis Pharma have agreed to work with us as a pioneer on this initiative.
