Developed to accelerate and simplify methods for high throughput screening in gene silencing applications
Cambridge BioScience has introduced Transit-TKO HTS-96 plates from Mirus.
These have been developed to accelerate and simplify methods for high throughput screening in gene silencing applications.
Transit-TKO transfection reagent allows highly efficient small interfering (si)RNA transfection that can knock out target gene expression in a variety of cell lines.
The 96-well format, featuring Transit-TKO reagent as a dry film in flat-bottom wells suitable for tissue culture, allows the rapid, simultaneous screening of multiple siRNA conditions including siRNA concentration, sequence and cell type in one plate.
Plates are available in four working concentrations of Transit-TKO reagent, allowing optimisation with a wide range of cell types.
A titration plate is also available for simultaneously testing at all four levels in a preliminary screen.
Transit-TKO HTS-96 plates are convenient and easy to use.
They deliver consistent performance, with efficient and reproducible siRNA delivery among multiple wells in a plate for performing replicate samples.
These products are available from Cambridge BioScience in the UK and Ireland only.
