Comprehensive selection of Class 10 approved clean room robots include single axis positioning systems, two, three, four axis Cartesian robots and full blown Scara units
To meet the ever increasing demand for clean room assembly systems, Yamaha has widened its range of industrial robots to include a comprehensive selection of Class 10 approved clean room robots.
They include single axis positioning systems, two, three, four axis Cartesian robots and full blown Scara units to give dexterity and speed to many repetitive and hazardous tasks in clean room and laboratory environments.
As well as holding class 10 approval, the new range of controllers give more flexibility, with ease of programming to allow complex tasks to be performed. The introduction of three networking options for DeviceNet, CC-link and Profibus (in addition to ethernet capability) allows tasks to be linked between systems and download of information as well as remote program capability.
With all these features, payloads of up to 120kg and the capability of accurately moving a few grams provide further enhancements, while the infinitely variable speed of up to 8m/sec with controlled acceleration and deceleration coupled with a repeatability of +/-0.01mm allow the most delicate and heavy duty tasks to be performed gracefully while minimising the time taken.
CPR Automation, the agent for Yamaha in the UK for over 20 years, describes it as a major advancement into new areas for the already respected family of robots.
