Stefan Janssens appointed general manager of Dendrite Belgium and Dendrite Netherlands
Appointment to lead operations in Belgium and Netherlands Stefan Janssens appointed general manager of Dendrite Belgium and Dendrite Netherlands.
Dendrite International has announced the appointment of Stefan Janssens as general manager of its operations in Belgium and the Netherlands.
Janssens will be responsible for business conducted through Dendrite's offices in Drogenbos, Belgium and Naarden, Netherlands, which employ approximately 90 people and provide pharmaceutical companies with CRM, interactive marketing, and support services. "Dendrite offers the broadest and richest portfolio of information, software, and service solutions to pharmaceutical companies in Belgium and the Netherlands," said Mr Janssens. "We aim to continue to enhance sales, marketing, and clinical initiatives for pharmaceutical companies operating in this region through our recently expanded services obtained from the acquisition of Synavant." Added Jean-Paul Modde, Dendrite group president, international: "Stefan's diverse business background will help us operate efficiently and effectively in this growing market.
"His industry expertise will help us to continue to offer premium products and first-class services to meet the needs of our client base there." Before joining Dendrite, Janssens was vice president of global strategic solutions for Synavant, a supplier of CRM systems, data, and interactive marketing services to pharmaceutical companies.
In addition, while at Synavant he worked as Netherlands business manager and international business development director.
Before joining Synavant, he was responsible for European-wide finance at CellPro Europe.
In addition, he worked as assistant corporate controller at Alvey Europe and supervising senior of audit projects at KPMG.
Janssens holds a PhD in accountancy and a BA in economics from the University of Vlaamse Ekonomische Hogeschool in Belgium.
