Total Engineering and Manufacturing (Team) exhibition, 12-14 November 2002 in Birmingham, will include newest versions of quality control machine vision and data acquisition software
Data Translation, a provider of machine vision and data acquisition systems, has announced its plans to demonstrate the new versions of its quality control machine vision and data acquisition software at the Team exhibition, 12-14 November 2002 in Birmingham.
DT Vision Foundry v3.5 (for Windows PCs) includes many new features and performance improvements which allow the user to rapidly create production-ready inspection programs. Visitors to the stand can have first-hand Vision Foundry demonstrations and view other applications that have benefited from this sophisticated software.
Also being demonstrated is the award-winning test and measurement application software, DT Measure Foundry.
The latest version (3.0) includes new features such as a software developer's kit, formula evaluator and OPC-client compatibility built using Aspect Oriented Programming techniques.
A key addition to Vision Foundry and Measure Foundry is the introduction of DTiX, which allows the sharing of information between the two environments.
DTiX (Data Translation Information Exchange) is a COM-based communication system that facilitates the sharing of variable and image data between COM/ActiveX capable software applications.
Therefore it can be used with many other Windows applications such as Microsoft Developer Studio.
