Endress+Hauser's new portable device for checking flow rates or flow blockages is characterized by its easy handling and operation
Endress+Hauser is expanding its range of ultrasonic flow measuring devices by introducing a portable device for checking flow rates or flow blockages.
The new Prosonic Flow 92 system is characterized by its easy handling and operation.
The clamp-on sensors can be installed in minutes from outside the pipeline with the brackets provided.
The rugged hand held transmitter has a rechargeable NiCad internal battery and records and stores flow and process data which may be transferred to other devices via an RS232C serial port.
The battery will provide up to 5 hours of continuous use and has a fast charge function.
The Prosonic Flow 92 features an internal data logger with a capacity for up to 40,000 data points including time, velocity, flow rate, totals, analog input and status.
The operator interface includes a Liquid Crystal Graphic Display (240 x 320 dot with back light), 9 push button keypad and supported languages featuring English, German, French, Italian and Spanish.
The sensor system is suitable for most pipeline materials including steel, plastic, glass or lined within a range of nominal widths from 15 mm to 4000 mm.
The complete system consists of handheld transmitter, flow sensors and holders, sensor spacing rule, tensioning bands, connecting cables, battery charger/power adapter and sensor coupling gel and is contained within a durable lap top style carry case.
Typical applications for the Prosonic Flow 92 hand held flow meter include effluent, water, waste water and process water monitoring, process flow optimisation, consumption and demand analysis and pipe or valve leakage testing in breweries, dairies and distilleries.
