Powered by a DC coreless motor only 18mm diameter, this miniaturised pump has applications in analysis and dosing equipment.
Electric Motor Applications announces the launch of a micro pump for laboratory applications A small, very efficient micro-pump has been developed by the Japanese company Namiki.
The pump is a diaphragm type using Namiki patented non-return valves and is powered by a DC coreless motor only 18mm diameter.
Two versions are available, the 5013 designed for 12 volt operation and the 5014 for 24 volt systems.
Maximum flow rate is 180ml/min (12 volt version) and 190ml/min (24 volt version).
The exhaust pressure range is 0 to +70kPa and the suction pressure range is -30 to 0kPa for both models.
The pump will handle fluids at temperatures from +5 to +40C.
For OEM applications the pump can be customised. Standard applications include medical and laboratory analysers, chemical dosing equipment, and environmental analysers.
