EuroTech launches the Force 512 and Force 1618 digital microcentrifuges as part of its expanding range of molecular biology, incubator, pipetting, electrophoresis and cell culture equipment.
Both units are engineered for low noise and to create an air flow that will keep samples cool.
Force 512 includes a 12x1.5/2.0ml rotor and provides 8500rpm/5200g.
Force 1618 includes an 18x1.5/2.0ml rotor and provides 14,000rpm/16,000g. Smaller tubes are taken taken using the appropriate adaptors. Both rotors include snap-on covers and individual slots to reduce the incidence of tube failure.
The 1618 includes a brushless maintenance free motor for fast acceleration and smooth performance.
Advances in technology, such as smaller motors, compact microprocessors and durable lightweight plastics have allowed the creation of powerful units that require a minimum of space.
