Next-generation ultraviolet/visible spot cure system has an increased lamp life of 2000 hours and is said to be ideal for automated and manual precision assembly environments
Exfo has announced the release of its new Acticure 4000 ultraviolet/visible spot cure system.
This next-generation light-based curing system, which is ideal for automated and manual precision assembly environments, has an increased lamp life of 2000 hours.
In addition, the optional ACS 1000 automated control system adds PC control and the ability to program StepCure profiles within the Acticure.
User-changeable optical filters and over 20,000 mW/cm2 of curing power allow the Acticure 4000 to be tailored to specific applications.
"The Acticure has always provided customers with a curing solution that is simple to use, yet contains sophisticated features such as optical feedback to ensure repeatable cures," said Kevin Davis, business development manager at Exfo.
"Now with over 2000 of lamp life and the optional StepCure feature, the Acticure 4000 provides even greater value to customers planning to automate high-precision bonding processes for optical component, semiconductor and medical applications." The Acticure 4000 delivers power with control.
Output intensity can be adjusted from the user-friendly front panel and locked into place.
The unit then monitors and maintains this setting through an optical feedback loop process to ensure exposure quality and repeatability.
