The new tool is the easy, low maintenance and low-cost way to implement searches in the 80 STN Easy databases on corporate intranets.
It is easy to set up - no programming, IT support, or HTML knowledge is needed.
It matches an organization's corporate web site's colours and fonts through a simple Setup Assistant; the Assistant also makes editing selections and preferences simple.
STN Easy for Intranets provides site administrators with the ability to allow access to existing database categories or restrict to databases of their choice; to enable/disable cost displays; to enable/disable charge-back codes for individuals, groups, or projects; to enable/disable access to ChemPort full-text options.
Linked with the new STN Site Administration Tool (SAT), STN Easy for Intranets integrates provision of full text from various sources (eg, ChemPort, Fiz AutoDoc, online services, library, publishers, internal sources) into the corporate workflow system.
Recently, the first version of GetInfo was launched.
