A new catalogue from Flux Pumps describes F 700 series vertical centrifugal immersion pumps which are robustly built for smooth running and long life.
Flux Pumps has taken advantage of modern materials and manufacturing techniques to provide high-reliability, maintenance-free operation in permanent installations which are in constant use, such as process inflow and effluent.
In all versions there is no contact between the seal and medium, while in the F 716 and F 726 there is no contact between the bearings and medium.
Dry running is also standard on all versions.
With operating temperature up to 100C, the F700 series is therefore suited to universal application in a wide range of industries.
Depending on the materials used - P or PVDF - and the configuration of bearings and seals, there are versions in the range for handling thin, neutral, corrosive or abrasive liquids.
Variants within the range feature immersion lengths from 300 to 2000mm.
With drive motor capacities between 0.37 and 5.5kW they can pump liquids to a maximum delivery head of 35m.
Delivery rates are up to 75m3/h.
The F706 PP is optimised for transfer or circulation of corrosive liquids in the chemical industry, chemical engineering and other applications involving acids, alkalis and other fluids with or without solids in suspension. The F 716 and F 726 in PP and PVDF versions are suitable for neutral or corrosive liquids in applications such as electroplating, steel or stainless steel pickling plants, flue gas decontamination, exhaust air purification, water and wastewater treatment, as well as general chemical industry and chemical engineering applications.
F 716 versions are compact pumps with integral three-phase motor, and are ideal for space critical applications, requiring little clearance for installation above the mounting flange.
F 706 and F 726 versions can be flexibly coupled with three-phase motors from Flux's range, featuring IP55 protection and, optionally, explosion proof to EEx e II T3.
