Two-stage vacuum pump for applications in research and development including freeze drying vacuum distillation, vacuum concentration, gel drying and general drying cabinets
The Ilmvac compact rotary vane pump PK 6 D is a sealed connection, oil running, two-stage vacuum pump, designed for applications in research and development, particularly in chemical laboratories.
Applications include freeze drying, vacuum distillation, vacuum concentration, gel drying and general drying cabinets.
The pressure- and suction-containers are glass coated sealed containers to allow ready access to condensates produced by vacuum distillation processes.
This new development in rotary vane vacuum pumps provides a number of benefits to the user including high water vapour tolerance and a special back pressure valve that prevents suck back of oil vapour when the pump is not running.
The pump is also very compact.
Suction and pressure side connections are to standard DN Kf sizes allowing easy interconnection with laboratory systems and equipment.
An oil level sight glass is provided top monitor the pump oil level.
The pump features an automatic shut off when low suction pressures are experienced.
