Evaporation, concentration, and parallel synthesis products will be on display at the monster US show in Chicago in March
Genevac, specialist in solvent removal, will be showing its latest products for solvent evaporation, concentration and parallel synthesis at Pittcon 2004 in Chicago, USA (7-12 March 2004).
The company will be displaying its popular EZ-2 personal evaporator system with a range of new facilities.
A new concentration mode enables the versatile EZ-2 system to concentrate samples down to a desired volume that may then be used in a microarray spotter or injected into an HPLC system for further analysis.
Incorporating the latest centrifugal evaporation technology in a compact and easy-to-use benchtop model, the EZ-2 series is priced to be affordable by almost any laboratory.
Additional new features include solvent removal methods optimised to give better performance with less-than-full loads in the evaporation chamber and new facility for a timed run mode.
The latter development now allows users to preset a fixed system run time, which is very useful when drying mixed samples that dry at differing rates.
For high-throughput drug discovery, parallel synthesis and drug screening laboratories where sample purity and speed are important technical specialists will be available to demonstrate and discuss the model HT-4X.
The powerful centrifugal evaporator offers unmatched speed of evaporation, shorter condenser defrost time, more powerful software and the flexibility to accommodate a wider range of sample formats than any other system in its class.
For the many pharmaceutical and biotech companies looking to accelerate their compound generation programmes Genevac will also display the latest leading edge parallel synthesis products from its distribution partners Radleys Discovery Technologies and Barnstead Stem.
Genevac is on booth 4234 at Pittcon 2004.
