Global Display Solutions (GDS), a designer and developer of industrial display solutions, has appointed Gus Rothmaler as its new sales engineer for the North and South American territories
Gus has been in the displays industry for the past 20 years.
For the last two years, he was project manager for display lines at Clinton, and prior to this he spent 18 years with Orwin Associates, where he worked his way up from being bench technician to plant manager.
During this time, Gus helped developed raster radar and tactical displays for the military and US Federal Aviation Administration, supplied stroker type displays to Ford, and was involved in building digitally controlled medical imaging displays.
As sales engineer for GDS, Gus will be involved in designing a wide range of monitors for ATMs, point of sale, aviation, etc, incorporating standard or hi-bright displays, ruggedised or open frames and with or without touch-screens.
He will also provide technical advice and support on GDSs complete product lines, including both CRT and LCD displays.
