Tungsten microarray pins provide up to 20 million high quality spots per pin, reducing the frequency of replacement and cutting the cost of microarraying consumables
Genetix, a supplier of microarraying instrumentation and supplies, has launched Aqu pins - a new range of tungsten microarray pins.
Produced using a proprietary manufacturing technology, Aqu pins provide up to 20 million high quality spots per pin - reducing the frequency of replacement and cutting the cost of microarraying consumables.
Aqu pins are available in a selection of pin types and tip diameters and are compatible with all major microarrayer print heads.
With a smoother surface finish than traditional stainless steel products Aqu pins reduce contamination from carryover by up to 35%.
Manufactured from tungsten, the pins also offer higher corrosion resistance and increased operational durability.
Using Aqu pins, over 600 features can be made from one sample pick with minimal pre-blotting, making your sample go further.
