Up to five binocular heads and a full set of biological objectives make this piece of kit suitable for cash-strapped teaching environments
GX Microscopes has launched a new multiviewing microscope system which, it says, can be afforded by a much larger number of labs than ever before.
With the top-end model, complete microscope with no less than five binocular heads costing less than $5000 (£2700), the new XSZ series is destined to be the top choice for many teaching and consultative laboratories.
The microscopes are suitable for use in a wide number of laboratories especially those engaged in teaching, such as universities, or where specimens require discussion between colleagues as in pathology laboratories in hospitals.
The XSZ series has three models of microscope, the XSZ-N204 has two binocular heads, the XSZ-N304 has one binocular and two monocular heads, and the XSZ-510D has five binocular heads.
The microscope is equipped with a full set of biological objectives 4x, 10x, 40x, 100x oil, and 10x widefield eyepieces.
The XSZ-510 model includes a separately illuminated pointing device as standard and a powerful 100W transmitted light source to ensure bright viewing at every station.
Ian Baldwin, sales director at GX Microscopes says "GX Microscope's mission is to make high quality microscopy available to a much wider range of customers. "This we do by providing our very wide range of quality microscopes at exceptionally low prices".
